About Us
Who We Are:
Men and Women of Destiny Center is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization with a recognition of 501c3 exemption, established in 2005. We follow all regulations and guidelines set forth by the organizational Texas standards. We train and counsel adolescents about career options and positive lifestyles at schools, religious and nonreligious organizations. We work with organizations in the United States and internationally to train and build up communities. As a whole, we have participated in many programs to help families and youth for over ten years. Additionally, we collaborate with various churches and organizations within our community, having served over 500 families and youth.
While one of our goals is aimed at encouraging young boys and girls to be productive adults in life, our goals are broad, encompassing training and educating adults through leadership programs available in our communities.
Goals for Youth and Adults:
Assisting youth through Life Coaching to focus on attaining a positive outlook for their futures through support programs and counseling to assist them in achieving their dreams. We are working on a two year housing program for displaced families to become established in the community. We also provide business leadership training programs to address the issues and needs in the business world. We are designed to serve as an initial voice for job formation and stabilizing through increase, a stronger work force in the 21st century.
Objectives:
To educate through counsel regarding career options. Influence achievements by guiding. Fire aspirations through spiritual drive. We believe these elements of training place them in the position to become productive in their lives and thus the community.
Our Vision:
Our vision is to help create global communities and build up leadership through training positive like-minded youth and adults, instilling aspirations and goals. We will also continue to build and inspire our youth, empowering them to reach out to and help the adults in the aging communities through educational programs, and practical information. We will make training available to the adults in the living facilities through conference training..
Why We Intervene:
We live in a permissive world, where most of our youth are being affected by exposure of images promoting negative sexual activities through the media that includes movies, internet, television and sexual magazines. This has had an adverse impact on our adolescents.
The social norms and values have become more liberal as time has passed, and created a lessening of moral structure; in particular sexual freedom and criminal activities. That’s where we come in. We recognize that it is our responsibility to teach, admonish and train our youth to a better way of life through family outreach programs, drug abuse programs, spiritual counseling, referrals to various organizations, and setting goals for those at-risk.
Our Values:
Our core values are integrity, empathy, and confidentiality. We give people the opportunity to express themselves in our programs.
Mission Statement:
We promote a positive lifestyle through education, career development programs, business training and family counsel.
Strategies:
To educate individuals and families in their community through local entrepreneurs in their areas in areas of business planning, marketing, and financial analysis, and to thereby encourage the awareness of economic changes to equip them to develop goals and aspirations so they will succeed.

We provide educational support in different areas of our programs. There are four phases of counseling that is an integral component we use as part of our program. This gives people the necessary tools and emotional techniques to help them in periods of stress.
First Phase: Point-Counseling, working with people on a one on one basis to help them recognize the innate potential of each individual and family; while helping adolescents in crisis to cope with their life situations.
Second Phase: Tel-Counseling, where we reach out to families in the communities by telephone to those who are “at risk” of breaking down.
Third Phase: E-Counseling, where we connect with families to help them gain an insight into their problem through Email connect. We help them find an appropriate solution to their situation.
Fourth Phase: Family Counseling, where couples and families discuss their problems and try to find solutions.
